The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to visit her while an effeminate man was present along with her brother Abdullah bin Abu Umaya. The effeminate man was saying to Abdullah, "Abdullah bin Abu Umaya, if Allah grants you victory over Taif tomorrow, you must take the daughter of Ghaylan, for she comes forward with four folds and turns away with eight."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard him and said to Umm Salama, "This man must never come in to see you again."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن زينب بنت أبي سلمة
دخل عليها رسول الله ﷺ وعندها مخنث وعندها أخوها عبد الله بن أبي أمية والمخنث يقول لعبد الله يا عبد الله بن أبي أمية إن فتح الله عليكم الطائف غدا فعليك بابنة غيلان فإنها تقبل بأربع وتدبر بثمان قال فسمعه رسول الله ﷺ فقال لأم سلمة لا يدخلن هذا عليك
