Harith bin Abu Rabia and Abdullah bin Safwan came to visit Umm Salama, and I was with them. They asked her about the army that would be swallowed up by the earth. This took place during the days of Ibn Zubayr.Umm Salama said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A man will seek refuge at the Kabah, and Allah will send an army against him. When they reach an open plain, the earth will swallow them up.'I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, what about someone who was forced to join them against his will?'He replied, 'He will be swallowed up along with them, but he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection according to his intention.'"I mentioned this to Abu Jafar, and he said, "It is the open plain of Madinah."
