She arrived while she was ill and mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Perform the tawaf behind the people while riding."She said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ reciting Surah at-Tur while he was beside the Kaabah."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن مالك عن أبي الأسود عن عروة عن زينب ابنة أم سلمة
أنها قدمت وهي مريضة فذكرت ذلك للنبي ﷺ فقال طوفي من وراء الناس وأنت راكبة قالت فسمعت النبي ﷺ وهو عند الكعبة يقرأ بالطور
Its isnad is sahih. Zaynab bint Umm Salama was the stepdaughter of the Prophet ﷺ. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 1/557 no. 264 in the Book of Prayer, Muslim 2/921 no. 1276, Abu Dawud 2/177 no. 1882, Nasai 5/223 no. 2925, and Ibn Majah 2/987 no. 2961. Also Malik 1/371, and Ibn Khuzayma 4/238 no. 2776, all of them in the Book of Hajj.
