During the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet ﷺ was asked a question. A man said, "Messenger of Allah, I shaved my head before slaughtering."The Prophet ﷺ gestured with his hand and said, "No harm done."Another man said, "Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered before stoning."He gestured with his hand and said, "No harm done."The narrator added that the Prophet ﷺ was not asked that day about anything done out of order, whether earlier or later than its proper time, without his gesturing with his hand and saying, "No harm done."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا وهيب حدثنا أيوب عن عكرمة
أن النبي ﷺ سئل في حجة الوداع فقال يا رسول الله حلقت قبل أن أذبح قال فأومأ بيده وقال لا حرج وقال رجل يا رسول الله ذبحت قبل أن أرمي قال فأومأ بيده وقال لا حرج قال فما سئل يومئذ عن شيء من التقديم والتأخير إلا أومأ بيده وقال لا حرج
