Both of them were trustworthy. She said, "I went to Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, and asked her about the meat of sacrificial animals."She replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden it, then later permitted it. Ali bin Abu Talib returned from a journey, and Fatimah brought him some meat from her sacrifices."Ali asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not forbid this?"Fatimah answered, "He has now permitted it."She continued, "So Ali went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about it, and he said to him, 'Eat it from one Dhul-Hijjah to the next.'"
حدثنا يعقوب قال حدثني أبي عن محمد بن إسحاق قال حدثني يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن سليمان بن أبي سليمان
وكلاهما كان ثقة قالت دخلت على عائشة زوج النبي ﷺ فسألتها عن لحوم الأضاحي فقالت قد كان رسول الله ﷺ نهى عنها ثم رخص فيها قدم علي بن أبي طالب من سفر فأتته فاطمة بلحم من ضحاياها فقال أولم ينه عنها رسول الله ﷺ فقالت إنه قد رخص فيها قالت فدخل علي على رسول الله ﷺ فسأله عن ذلك فقال له كلها من ذي الحجة إلى ذي الحجة
