When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, he called his daughter Fatimah and whispered to her, and she wept. Then he whispered to her again, and she laughed.She was asked about this, and she replied, "As for when I wept, he had told me that he was going to die, so I wept. Then he told me that I would be the first of his family to follow him, so I laughed."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا إبراهيم بن سعد قال حدثنا أبي عن عروة بن الزبير
لما مرض رسول الله ﷺ دعا ابنته فاطمة فسارها فبكت ثم سارها فضحكت فسألتها عن ذلك فقالت أما حيث بكيت فإنه أخبرني أنه ميت فبكيت ثم أخبرني أني أول أهله لحوقا به فضحكت
