I said to Ibn Umar, "Does Allah punish this deceased person because of the weeping of this living one?"He replied, "Umar narrated this to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I have not lied about Umar, nor did Umar lie about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

قلت لابن عمر يعذب الله هذا الميت ببكاء هذا الحي فقال حدثني عمر عن رسول الله ﷺ ما كذبت على عمر ولا كذب عمر على رسول الله ﷺ
