Only one of their women was killed. Ayesha said, "By Allah, she was right beside me, talking with me and laughing heartily, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was executing their men in the marketplace. Suddenly, a caller called out her name, 'Where is so-and-so?'"She replied, "Here I am, by Allah."Ayesha said, "I asked her, 'Woe to you, what is the matter?'"She said, "I am to be killed."Ayesha asked, "For what?"She replied, "For something I did."Ayesha continued, "She was taken away and beheaded."Ayesha used to say, "By Allah, I shall never forget how astonished I was at her cheerfulness and the abundance of her laughter, knowing full well that she was about to be killed."

لم يقتل من نسائهم إلا امرأة واحدة قالت والله إنها لعندي تحدث معي تضحك ظهرا وبطنا ورسول الله ﷺ يقتل رجالهم بالسوق إذ هتف هاتف باسمها أين فلانة قالت أنا والله قالت قلت ويلك وما لك قالت أقتل قالت قلت ولم قالت حدثا أحدثته قالت فانطلق بها فضربت عنقها وكانت عائشة تقول والله ما أنسى عجبي من طيب نفسها وكثرة ضحكها وقد عرفت أنها تقتل
