Ayesha reported,

While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the shade of Farih, the fortress of Hassan, a man came to him and said, "I am ruined, Messenger of Allah!"He asked, "What is the matter with you?"The man replied, "I had relations with my wife while I was fasting." She said, this happened during Ramadan.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Sit down."So he sat down to the side of the gathering. Then a man came leading a donkey carrying a large sack of dates and said, "This is my charity, Messenger of Allah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Where is the man who was just ruined?"He answered, "Here I am, Messenger of Allah."The Prophet said, "Take this and give it as charity."The man said, "To whom should I give charity, Messenger of Allah, more deserving than me and my family? By the One who sent you with the truth, neither I nor my dependents have anything."The Prophet said, "Then take it." So he took it.

أن رسول الله ﷺ بينا هو جالس في ظل فارع أجم حسان جاءه رجل فقال احترقت يا رسول الله قال ما شأنك قال وقعت على امرأتي وأنا صائم قالت وذاك في رمضان فقال له رسول الله ﷺ اجلس فجلس في ناحية القوم فأتى رجل بحمار عليه غرارة فيها تمر قال هذه صدقتي يا رسول الله فقال رسول الله ﷺ أين المحترق آنفا فقال ها هو ذا أنا يا رسول الله قال خذ هذا فتصدق به قال وأين الصدقة يا رسول الله إلا علي ولي فوالذي بعثك بالحق ما أجد أنا وعيالي شيئا قال فخذها فأخذها
