The Prophet ﷺ used to pray often, both standing and sitting. When he prayed sitting, he would bow while sitting, and when he prayed standing, he would bow while standing.

أن النبي ﷺ كان يكثر الصلاة قائما وقاعدا فإذا صلى قاعدا ركع قاعدا وإذا صلى قائما ركع قائما
