Abdullah bin Amir sent some money and clothing to Ayesha. She said to his messenger, "My son, I do not accept anything from anyone."When he left, she said, "Bring him back to me."So they brought him back, and she said, "I just remembered something the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me. He said, 'Ayesha, whoever gives you a gift without your asking for it, accept it, for it is only provision that Allah has presented to you.'"
حدثنا يونس قال حدثنا ليث عن يزيد يعني ابن الهاد عن عمرو
أن عبد الله بن عامر بعث إلى عائشة بنفقة وكسوة فقالت لرسوله يا بني إني لا أقبل من أحد شيئا فلما خرج قالت ردوه علي فردوه فقالت إني ذكرت شيئا قاله لي رسول الله ﷺ قال يا عائشة من أعطاك عطاء بغير مسألة فاقبليه فإنما هو رزق عرضه الله لك
