The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came into my house wearing a lower garment and a cloak. He faced the qiblah, stretched out his hands, and then said, "O Allah, I am only a human being. So whichever of Your servants I have insulted or harmed, do not punish me on his account."
حدثنا يونس حدثنا حماد عن سماك عن عكرمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل علي بيتي في إزار ورداء فاستقبل القبلة وبسط يده ثم قال اللهم إنما أنا بشر فأي عبد من عبادك شتمت أو آذيت فلا تعاقبني فيه
