I entered upon Ayesha and said to her, "Will you not tell me about the illness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"She replied, "Yes." She mentioned the hadith and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ became gravely ill," and she recounted the account.She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gestured to him not to step back." Muawiya said, "To step back." She said, "He told the two of them, 'Sit me down beside him.' So they sat him down beside him."She said, "Abu Bakr began to pray standing, following the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the people were praying following the prayer of Abu Bakr, while the Prophet ﷺ was seated."
