We used to garland the sheep and send them off, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained in a state of ihlal, with nothing of it being forbidden to him.
حدثنا عبد الصمد قال حدثني أبي قال حدثنا محمد بن جحادة عن الحكم عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
كنا نقلد الشاء فنرسل بها ورسول الله ﷺ حلال لم يحرم منه
Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Jahada is al-Azdi, and he is trustworthy, his hadith being found in the collections of the group. The hadith has already come at 25887.
