The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer during the illness in which he died. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in front of Abu Bakr leading the people in prayer while seated, and Abu Bakr was praying alongside the people, with the people behind him.
