A woman held up a small child of hers and asked, "Messenger of Allah, does this one have a valid Hajj?"He replied, "Yes, and you will have a reward."
The isnad is sahih. Nuh bin Maymun bin Abdul-Hameed bin Abu Rijal is trustworthy. Khatib affirmed his trustworthiness in Tarikh Baghdad 13:318, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat, saying, "He may have erred at times." He was among the students of Malik and Thawri, and among the teachers of Ahmad.Muhammad bin Uqba bin Abu Ayyash Asadi is trustworthy. Ahmad, Ibn Main, and Nasai all affirmed his trustworthiness. He narrates from Kurayb, but here he narrated from him through his brother Ibrahim, and both of them are brothers of Musa bin Uqba. This hadith is a repetition of 2187, and it has already been given here.Regarding "from Kurayb, freed slave of Abdullah bin Abbas, he said..." and so on, the phrase "from Abdullah bin Abbas" was dropped from it. This is an error in H, while it is mentioned correctly in K, so it should be corrected and rectified there accordingly.
