Ayesha was asked about the recitation in the two units of prayer before the dawn prayer. She replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite quietly in them," and she mentioned "Say, O disbelievers" [Kafirun 109:1] and "Say, He is Allah, the One" [Ikhlas 112:1].
