The matter of facing the qiblah while relieving oneself was discussed in the presence of Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him. Arak bin Malik said that Ayesha had reported, "People mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that some folk dislike doing that."She said, "He responded, 'Have they really done so? Turn my seat toward the qiblah.'"
حدثنا بهز قال حدثنا حماد بن سلمة حدثنا خالد الحذاء
ذكروا عند عمر بن عبد العزيز رحمه الله استقبال القبلة بالفروج فقال عراك بن مالك قالت عائشة ذكروا عند رسول الله ﷺ أن قوما يكرهون ذلك قال فقال قد فعلوها حولوا مقعدتي نحو القبلة
