We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ thinking only of Hajj. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered those who had brought sacrificial animals with them to remain in their state of ihram, and those who had not brought sacrificial animals to exit ihram once they had performed tawaf.When the day of sacrifice came, beef was brought in to me. I asked, "What is this?"They replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed it on behalf of his wives."Yahya said that Shuba said, "I mentioned that to al-Qasim, and he said, 'She has brought you the hadith exactly as it occurred.'"Ibn Numayr said, "With five days remaining of Dhu al-Qadah, thinking only of Hajj."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد وابن نمير قالا حدثنا يحيى عن عمرة
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ لا نرى إلا أنه الحج فأمر رسول الله ﷺ من كان معه الهدي أن يمضي على إحرامه ومن لم يكن معه هدي أن يحل إذا طاف فلما كان يوم النحر دخل علي بلحم بقر فقلت ما هذا قالوا ذبح رسول الله ﷺ عن نسائه قال يحيى قال شعبة فذكرت ذاك للقاسم فقال جاءتك بالحديث على وجهه قال ابن نمير لخمس بقيت من ذي القعدة لا نرى إلا الحج
