Ayesha reported,

Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say frequently before his death, "Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him. I seek forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance."She said, "He used to say it often, so I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, you are making a supplication that you did not make before today.'"He replied, "My Lord has informed me that I will see a sign in my nation, and when I see that sign, I should glorify Him with His praise and seek His forgiveness. And indeed I have seen it. 'When the help of Allah comes and the victory, and you see the people entering the religion of Allah in throngs.'" [Nasr 110:1–2]

عن عائشة قالت

كان رسول الله ﷺ يكثر أن يقول قبل موته سبحان الله وبحمده أستغفر الله وأتوب إليه قالت وكان يكثر أن يقوله فقلت يا رسول الله إنك تدعو بدعاء لم تكن تدعو به قبل اليوم فقال إن ربي عز وجل أخبرني أني سأرى علما في أمتي وأني إذا رأيت ذلك العلم أن أسبح بحمده وأستغفره فقد رأيت ذلك {إذا جاء نصر الله والفتح ورأيت الناس يدخلون في دين الله أفواجا}
