A freed slave of the Prophet ﷺ fell from the stalk of a date palm and died. He was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, who asked, "Does he have any lineage or blood relative?"They replied, "No."He said, "Give his inheritance to one of the people of his village."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن عبد الرحمن بن الأصبهاني عن مجاهد بن وردان عن عروة
أن مولى للنبي ﷺ خر من عذق نخلة فمات فأتي به النبي ﷺ فقال هل له من نسب أو رحم قالوا لا قال أعطوا ميراثه بعض أهل قريته
