The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was at Ayesha's house when she heard the voice of a man asking permission to enter Hafsa's house.Ayesha said, "Messenger of Allah, there is a man asking permission to enter your house."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "I think it is so-and-so," referring to Hafsa's paternal uncle through breastfeeding.Ayesha then asked, "Messenger of Allah, if so-and-so were alive," meaning her own paternal uncle through breastfeeding, "could he come in to see me?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ answered, "Yes. Breastfeeding makes unlawful what birth makes unlawful."
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن: مالك عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر عن عمرة بنت عبد الرحمن أن
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان عندها وأنها سمعت صوت رجل يستأذن في بيت حفصة قالت عائشة فقلت يا رسول الله هذا رجل يستأذن في بيتك قال رسول الله ﷺ أراه فلانا لعم لحفصة من الرضاعة فقالت عائشة يا رسول الله لو كان فلان حيا لعمها من الرضاعة أدخل علي فقال رسول الله ﷺ نعم إن الرضاعة تحرم ما تحرم الولادة
