The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived on the fourth day of Dhu al-Hijjah. He came in to me angry, so I said, "Who has angered you, Messenger of Allah? May Allah cast him into the Fire!"He replied, "Do you not realize that I commanded the people to do something, yet I see them hesitating? If I could begin my affair afresh with the knowledge I now have, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me. I would have purchased it there and exited the state of ihram just as they did."Hakam said, "It is as if they were reluctant," I think.Rawh said, "hesitating about it," and said, "It is as if they were afraid," I think.

قدم رسول الله ﷺ لأربع مضين من ذي الحجة فدخل علي وهو غضبان فقلت من أغضبك يا رسول الله أدخله الله النار فقال وما شعرت أني أمرت الناس بأمر فأراهم يترددون قال الحكم كأنهم أحسب ولو أني استقبلت من أمري ما استدبرت ما سقت الهدي معي حتى أشتريه ثم أحل كما أحلوا قال روح يترددون فيه قال كأنهم هابوا أحسب
