I went to visit Ayesha and asked her about how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the ritual bath after major impurity.She said, "His vessel of water would be brought to him. He would wash his hands three times, then pour water from the vessel onto his private parts and wash them. Then he would pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash it. Then he would rinse his mouth and sniff water into his nose. Then he would pour water over his head three times, and finally wash the rest of his body."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن عطاء بن السائب قال سمعت
دخلت على عائشة فسألتها عن غسل رسول الله ﷺ من الجنابة قالت كان يؤتى بإنائه فيغسل يديه ثلاثا ثم يصب من الإناء على فرجه فيغسله ثم يفرغ بيده اليمنى على اليسرى فيغسلها ثم يمضمض ويستنشق ثم يفرغ على رأسه ثلاثا ثم يغسل سائر جسده
