Sabi bin Mabad reported,

I was a Christian, then I embraced Islam. I strove earnestly and spared no effort. I entered the state of ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together. As I passed by al-Udhayb, I came upon Salman bin Rabia and Zayd bin Sawhan.One of them said, "He has entered ihram for both at the same time."The other replied, "Leave him be, he is more lost than his own camel."It felt as though my camel were sitting on my neck. I went to Umar and mentioned this to him.Umar said to me, "They said nothing of value. You have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ."

حدثنا يحيى عن الأعمش حدثنا شقيق حدثني

الصبي بن معبد وكان رجلا من بني تغلب قال

كنت نصرانيا فأسلمت فاجتهدت فلم آل فأهللت بحجة وعمرة فمررت بالعذيب على سلمان بن ربيعة وزيد بن صوحان فقال أحدهما أبهما جميعا فقال له صاحبه دعه فلهو أضل من بعيره قال فكأنما بعيري على عنقي فأتيت عمر رضي الله عنه فذكرت ذلك له فقال لي عمر إنهما لم يقولا شيئا هديت لسنة نبيك ﷺ
