I have never seen pain more severe on anyone than it was on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان عن أبي وائل عن مسروق
ما رأيت الوجع على أحد أشد منه على رسول الله ﷺ
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated it, 10/110 no. 5646, Fath al-Bari, in the Book of Illness, Muslim narrated it, 4/1990 no. 2570, in the Book of Righteousness, and Tirmidhi narrated it, 4/601 no. 2397, in the Book of Asceticism, and said, hasan sahih.
