The Prophet ﷺ said to her, "Whoever is given a share of gentleness has been given a share of the good of this world and the next. Maintaining ties of kinship, good character, and being a good neighbor cause homes to flourish and lengthen lifespans."
حدثنا عبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث حدثنا محمد بن مهزم عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم حدثنا القاسم
أن النبي ﷺ قال لها إنه من أعطي حظه من الرفق فقد أعطي حظه من خير الدنيا والآخرة وصلة الرحم وحسن الخلق وحسن الجوار يعمران الديار ويزيدان في الأعمار
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Muhammad bin Mahzam was graded reliable by Ibn Main and Ibn Hibban, and Abu Hatim was satisfied with him. The hadith was reported by Abu Yaala 8/24 no. 4530, and by Abd bin Humayd, p. 440, no. 1523. Haythami said in 8/153, "Abdul-Rahman bin Qasim did not hear from Ayesha," and Qasim had dropped out of his copy. He fell short in examining the chain against other copies.
