The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed behind Abu Bakr while sitting, during the illness in which he passed away.
حدثنا شبابة بن سوار أخبرنا شعبة عن نعيم بن أبي هند عن أبي وائل عن مسروق
صلى رسول الله ﷺ خلف أبي بكر قاعدا في مرضه الذي مات فيه
Its chain of transmission is sahih.
