The Prophet ﷺ was brought a pouch of beads, and he distributed them among the free women and the slave women. She said, "My father used to distribute among the free and the slave."
حدثنا أبو النضر عن ابن أبي ذئب عن القاسم بن عباس عن عبد الله بن نيار الأسلمي عن عروة
أتي النبي ﷺ بظبية خرز فقسمها للحرة وللأمة وقالت كان أبي يقسم للحر والعبد
Its isnad is sahih. Qasim bin Abbas Hashimi is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in Sahih Muslim. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 3/136, no. 2952, in "The Chapter on Leadership," and Hakim graded it sahih, 2/137, and Dhahabi agreed with him, as did Bayhaqi, 6/347.
