Ayesha reported,

He used to lead her, and whenever she heard the sound of a bell ahead of her, she would say, "Stop with me," and he would stop until she could no longer hear it. And whenever she heard it behind her, she would say, "Hurry with me, so that I do not hear it." She said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It has a companion from among the jinn."

مولى لعائشة أخبره

كان يقود بها أنها كانت إذا سمعت صوت الجرس أمامها قالت قف بي فيقف حتى لا تسمعه وإذا سمعته ورآها قالت أسرع بي حتى لا أسمعه وقالت قال رسول الله ﷺ إن له تابعا من الجن
