The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to rest his head on her lap and recite the Quran while she was menstruating.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي حدثنا سفيان عن منصور عن أمه
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يضع رأسه في حجرها فيقرأ القرآن وهي حائض
Its isnad is sahih. Mansur here is Ibn Abdul-Rahman bin Talha, who is trustworthy, his hadith appears in Sahihayn. His mother was Safiya bint Shayba. The hadith has already appeared at 24911.
