A lizard was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, but he did not eat it. I asked, "Should we not feed it to the poor?"He replied, "Do not feed them what you yourselves will not eat."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن حماد عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
أتي النبي ﷺ بضب فلم يأكله فقلت ألا نطعمه المساكين قال لا تطعموهم مما لا تأكلون
