The Prophet ﷺ was eating a meal along with six of his companions when an Arabi came and finished it in two mouthfuls.The Prophet ﷺ said, "Had he mentioned the name of Allah, it would have sufficed all of you. So when one of you eats, let him mention the name of Allah. If he forgets to mention the name of Allah at the beginning, let him say, 'In the name of Allah at its beginning and its end.'"
حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا هشام عن بديل عن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير
أن النبي ﷺ كان يأكل طعاما في ستة نفر من أصحابه فجاء أعرابي فأكله بلقمتين فقال النبي ﷺ أما إنه لو كان ذكر اسم الله لكفاكم فإذا أكل أحدكم طعاما فليذكر اسم الله فإن نسي أن يذكر اسم الله في أوله فليقل بسم الله أوله وآخره
