I asked Ayesha about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said, "As far as I knew, he never fasted an entire month without breaking it with some days of not fasting, nor did he ever go a full month without fasting at all without observing some fasts within it, until he passed on to his Lord."

سألت عائشة عن صوم رسول الله ﷺ فقالت ما علمته صام شهرا حتى يفطر منه ولا أفطر حتى يصوم منه حتى مضى لسبيله
