When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the House, he found inside it an image of Ibrahim and an image of Maryam. He said, "As for them, they have indeed heard that the angels do not enter a house in which there is an image. This is Ibrahim depicted in an image, so what is he doing drawing lots with divining arrows?"
حدثنا هارون بن معروف حدثنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث أن بكيرا حدثه عن كريب مولى ابن عباس
أن رسول الله ﷺ حين دخل البيت وجد فيه صورة إبراهيم وصورة مريم فقال أما هم فقد سمعوا أن الملائكة لا تدخل بيتا فيه صورة هذا إبراهيم مصورا فما باله يستقسم
