Ayesha reported,

Abu Bakr came in to visit us on the day of Eid, and we had two young girls with us singing about the Day of Buath, the day on which the chiefs of Aws and Khazraj had been killed.Abu Bakr said, "Servants of Allah, the pipes of Satan? Servants of Allah, the pipes of Satan?" He said it three times.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abu Bakr, every people has a festival, and today is our festival."

دخل علينا أبو بكر في يوم عيد وعندنا جاريتان تذكران يوم بعاث يوم قتل فيه صناديد الأوس والخزرج فقال أبو بكر عباد الله أمزمور الشيطان عباد الله أمزمور الشيطان قالها ثلاثا فقال رسول الله ﷺ يا أبا بكر إن لكل قوم عيدا وإن اليوم عيدنا
