Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited this verse, "He is the One who has revealed to you the Book. Out of it there are verses that are definite in meaning, which are the foundation of the Book, and others that are metaphorical. Now those who have perversity in their hearts..." [Aal Imran 3:7]. When he finished reciting it, he said, "Allah has named them, so when you see such people, beware of them."

أن رسول الله ﷺ تلا هذه الآية {هو الذي أنزل عليك الكتاب منه آيات محكمات هن أم الكتاب وأخر متشابهات فأما الذين في قلوبهم زيغ} حتى إذا فرغ منها قال قد سماهم الله عز وجل فإذا رأيتموهم فاحذروهم
