He saw no harm in a man getting married while in the state of ihram for pilgrimage. He said that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ married Maymuna bint Harith at a watering place called Sarif while he was in ihram. When the Prophet of Allah ﷺ completed his pilgrimage and returned, he consummated the marriage with her at that same watering place.
حدثنا عبد الله بن بكر ومحمد بن جعفر قالا حدثنا سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن يعلى بن حكيم عن عكرمة
أنه كان لا يرى بأسا أن يتزوج الرجل وهو محرم ويقول إن نبي الله ﷺ تزوج ميمونة بنت الحارث بماء يقال له سرف وهو محرم فلما قضى نبي الله ﷺ حجته أقبل حتى إذا كان بذلك الماء أعرس بها
