The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A previously married woman has more right over herself than her guardian does, and a virgin must be consulted about herself, and her silence is her consent."

عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال الأيم أملك بأمرها من وليها والبكر تستأمر في نفسها وصماتها إقرارها
