A young woman from the Ansar was given in marriage. She fell ill, and her hair fell out, so her family wanted to attach extensions to it. They asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hair extensions, and he cursed the woman who attaches hair and the one who has it attached.
حدثنا حسين قال حدثنا شعبة بن الحجاج العتكي عن عمرو بن مرة قال سمعت الحسن بن مسلم بن يناق يحدث عن صفية بنت شيبة
أن جارية من الأنصار زوجت وأنها مرضت فتمعط شعرها فأرادوا أن يصلوه فسألوا رسول الله ﷺ عن الوصال فلعن الواصلة والمستوصلة
