The Prophet ﷺ said, "The evil eye is real. It can bring down even one standing on a mountain peak."
حدثنا أبو أحمد حدثنا سفيان عن رجل عن جابر بن زيد
عن النبي ﷺ قال العين حق تستنزل الحالق
Its isnad is daif, because of the unnamed person from whom Sufyan narrated. See the following hadith. Al-Haliq: the high, towering, overlooking mountain.
