I asked Ayesha, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days?"She replied, "No, but only a few people used to offer sacrifices, so he did that in order that those who had offered sacrifices might feed those who had not. Indeed, we used to set aside the trotters from our sacrificial animals and then eat them ten days later."
