The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever has a kindness done to him should repay it. If he cannot, let him speak of it, for whoever speaks of it has given thanks. And whoever boasts of what he has not received is like one who wears two garments of falsehood."
حدثنا سكن بن نافع قال حدثنا صالح بن أبي الأخضر عن الزهري عن عروة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من أتى إليه معروف فليكافئ به ومن لم يستطع فليذكره فمن ذكره فقد شكره ومن تشبع بما لم ينل فهو كلابس ثوبي زور

Its isnad is sahih. Sakan bin Nafi was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Hibban, and Abu Hatim said, "A shaikh." Muslim narrated the hadith, 3/1681, no. 2129, in the Book of Clothing, and it will come at length under 25216 and 26800.
