Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from killing the snakes found in houses, except for the one with two stripes on its back and the short-tailed one, for these two blind the eyes and cause pregnant women to miscarry. Whoever does not kill these two is not one of us.Ubayy said, Hasan narrated both of these to us together from Jareer, with the same meaning and chain of transmission.
