She gave instructions that the funeral bier of Saad bin Abu Waqqas be brought past her so she could pray over it, and it was brought past her. When she heard that people had spoken critically of this, she said, "How quick people are to speak. By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the funeral prayer over Suhayl bin Bayda only in the mosque."

أنها أمرت بجنازة سعد بن أبي وقاص أن يمر بها عليها فمر بها عليها فبلغها أن قد قيل في ذلك فقالت ما أسرع الناس إلى القول والله ما صلى رسول الله ﷺ على سهيل بن بيضاء إلا في المسجد
