The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that a horned ram be brought, one that walked in black, looked through black, and rested in black. It was brought to him to be sacrificed. He said, "Ayesha, bring me the knife."Then he said, "Sharpen it with a stone."She did so, then he took it, took hold of the ram, laid it on its side, and slaughtered it, saying, "In the name of Allah. O Allah, accept this from Muhammad, the family of Muhammad, and the nation of Muhammad."Then he sacrificed it ﷺ.
