When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to enter the state of ihram, he would wash with khitmi and ashnan, and anoint himself with a small amount of oil, not much.She said, "We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He had his wives perform Umrah but left me out. I felt hurt that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had his wives perform Umrah and left me out. So I said, 'Messenger of Allah, you have had your wives perform Umrah but left me out.'"He said to Abdul-Rahman, "Take your sister out so she may perform Umrah. Make tawaf with her around the House and between Safa and Marwa, then let her complete her rites, then bring her to me before I depart on the night of Hasbah."She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only stayed at Hasbah on my account."
حدثنا زكريا بن عدي قال أخبرنا عبيد الله بن عمرو عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل عن عروة
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا أراد أن يحرم غسل بخطمي وأشنان ودهنه بشيء من زيت غير كثير قالت وحججنا مع رسول الله ﷺ حجة فأعمر نساءه وتركني فوجدت في نفسي أن رسول الله ﷺ أعمر نساءه وتركني فقلت يا رسول الله أعمرت نساءك وتركتني فقال لعبد الرحمن اخرج بأختك فلتعتمر فطف بها البيت والصفا والمروة ثم لتقض ثم ائتني بها قبل أن أبرح ليلة الحصبة قالت فإنما أقام رسول الله ﷺ بالحصبة من أجلي
