The Prophet ﷺ drew up a document between the Muhajirun and the Ansar stipulating that they would pay each other's blood-money and ransom their captives in a fair manner, maintaining harmony among the Muslims.

أن النبي ﷺ كتب كتابا بين المهاجرين والأنصار أن يعقلوا معاقلهم وأن يفدوا عانيهم بالمعروف والإصلاح بين المسلمين
