Ayesha reported,

"Messenger of Allah, every member of your family has entered the House except me."He said, "Send word to Shayb so he may open the door for you."So she sent word to him, but Shayb said, "We have never opened it at night, neither in the days of ignorance nor in Islam."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Pray in the Hijr, for your people fell short in their construction when they rebuilt the House."

عن عائشة أنها قالت

يا رسول الله كل أهلك قد دخل البيت غيري فقال أرسلي إلى شيبة فيفتح لك الباب فأرسلت إليه فقال شيبة ما استطعنا فتحه في جاهلية ولا إسلام بليل فقال النبي ﷺ صلي في الحجر فإن قومك استقصروا عن بناء البيت حين بنوه
