I asked Ayesha, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do in his home?"She replied, "He used to occupy himself with serving his household, and when the time for prayer came, he would go out to pray."
حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة قال حدثني الحكم عن إبراهيم
قلت لعائشة ما كان رسول الله ﷺ يصنع في أهله قالت كان في مهنة أهله فإذا حضرت الصلاة خرج إلى الصلاة
Its isnad is sahih. Hakam is Ibn Utayba, a trustworthy narrator whose hadith appears in the Sahihayn, and the hadith was narrated by Bukhari, 2/162, no. 676, in the chapter on manners, on him who was engaged in his family's needs.
